Culinary experience in the vegetable garden
At Château Beaulieu, near Saint-Émilion in the Gironde, we imagined a culinary experience that reflects who we are: eating outdoors, eating well, with the people we love.
Lunch at the kitchen garden is an Argentine wood-fire gathering, held once a month at the heart of our estate. In a natural, unspoiled setting, 45 minutes from Bordeaux, we lay out a long, convivial table in the midst of vegetables and flowers. The fire is lit early in the morning, the embers do their work — and that is where the magic happens.
On the menu, generous and heartfelt flavours: empanadas golden from the wood fire, chorizo with chimichurri sauce, grilled sweetbreads, melt-in-the-mouth sirloin, duck breast, and garden vegetables picked that very morning. For dessert, panna cotta with dulce de leche and roasted orchard fruits. The wines are chosen to complement the meal, not to impress.
We love welcoming families. Children have space to roam, animals to watch, and games to play. Adults have time — time to breathe, to eat slowly, to truly talk.
Lunch at the kitchen garden is by reservation only, on Saturdays from 12pm to 3pm. €120 per person, €50 for children under 12, food and wine pairing included.
